THE FRIENDS OF BROOKE PARK emerged out of a public meeting, organised by the BBC Action Network (June 2006), to discuss concerns about the current state and usage of Brooke Park and to consider community-driven actions that might be taken to revitalise this important urban greenspace and public amenity. Friends of Brooke Park is an informal network of local residents, community groups and others who care about the future of the park. New members are always extremely welcome.
